License Types

Depending on the number of users in your organization,
Imatest offers two different license types and volume discounts.

Node-Locked License

Node-locked licenses can be installed on multiple computers, however activation is limited to one computer at a time. A user must deactivate the license before it can be reactivated on a different computer.

Floating License

Floating Licenses are a flexible licensing option offered with all Imatest products starting with version 4.4. They allow each license to be automatically shared across multiple computers without the time-consuming process of deactivating and reactivating the software on each computer.

Each license code allows for a set number of concurrent uses (called "seats") that can be shared automatically between any number of computers that have installed and activated Imatest software using the same license code. For example, a license purchased with four concurrent uses, or seats, and installed on ten different machines allows for four active users at one time.
